To this end Veolia Water has in-house own training facilities in Paris. In addition, it has a separate UK training facility based in Staines, Middlesex - Campus Veolia.

Individual Business Units of VWS are encouraged to be pro-active in organising training for their staff through the use of these facilities, as well as through other externally organised events. In this respect, VWS Westgarth is no exception and annually organises formal training through both these facilities as well as through other recognised training bodies such as the Institute of Mechanical Engineers - IMechE.

In addition, VWS Westgarth is proud to hold an accreditation from the IMechE., which recognises a process that allows new mechanical engineering graduates entering the business to follow a planned course of professional development which should result in graduates achieving chartered engineering status. The scheme is run in conjunction with the IMechE's on line eMPDS program. We currently have several graduates participating in this program and plan to annually recruit new mechanical graduates to the company who will be actively encouraged to participate in this scheme. We plan to establish a similar scheme in the near future for Process, Control/Instrumentation and Electrical engineers.
