The award is for the supply of a sulphate reduction process (SRP) package which replicates the P51 project recently delivered by the partnership of VWS companies VWS Westgarth and VWS Brazil to FSTP. The package is designed to the demanding specifications required by the oil and gas industry and will upon completion produce 1250 m³/hour of low sulphate sea water for injection.

The plant will be engineered in VWS Westgarth's UK office near Glasgow based on the previous project specifications and vendor list. This repeat order is our fourth SRP technology design and build project for FSTP and further illustrates the company's continuing strength within this specialist market. With the support of VWS Brazil, VWS Westgarth can maximize the Brazilian content of the project, as well as supervise the fabrication of the module in Brazil.
