A major contractor to the Water, Oil & Gas industries

As a major contractor to the Water, Oil & Gas industries worldwide, VWS Westgarth is committed to the principles of environmental sustainability. We recognise that some of our activities have the potential to make both a temporary or permanent impact on the environment and we will always endeavour to avoid, reduce or remedy any effects wherever reasonably practicable.

VWS Westgarth is committed to sustainable development

We consider the environment

VWS Westgarth is committed to sustainable development. Our commitment is made to our customers, to our employees and to the environment.

As part of the Veolia Environnement Group, sustainable development is at the heart of our activities. Environmental solutions are our business, which means we can never be content to treat sustainable development merely as a question of image, reputation or behavior. Environmental and social responsibility, together with integration within the local community, are part of our daily work. Our responsible approach is illustrated in all our technical and business activities, and it is central to our "value creation strategy" for the decades to come.

VWS Westgarth's ISO 14001

Environmental Management System

VWS Westgarth operates an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001-2004. This EMS is regularly audited and reviewed to ensure that it remains effective. We have an Environmental Manual and a Register of the VWS Environmental Aspects together with an evaluation of their significance.

Our current ISO14001-2004 certificate covers the East Kilbride office, however it is intended to certify our Gloucester office at the time of our next audit, as all the procedures worked to in both offices are identical.
