The management system that is used across the organisation allows all areas of the business to follow clear and concise processes. It supports the business to demonstrate to our clients that we have consistency in everything that we do.

We successfully transitioned to the latest ISO9001 standard in Jan 2018 and use a highly regarded certification body LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd) to maintain our commitment to this standard.

Veolia Water Technologies place great emphasis on following all practices and have a rigorous internal auditing process that ensures that we identify areas to improve upon.

Our assurance processes feature across every department and top level management deploying objectives that are measured annually to maintain the plan. We have a culture of continuous improvement through CCPM (Critical Chain project Management) and adopt Lean/6Sigma tools and techniques to drive customer satisfaction and deliver success.

Our team is based in the UK and also have an onsite presence in China/India to fulfil all the requirements of the project. Providing confidence and dealing with any challenges that present themselves over the project life cycles.

We are committed to ensuring the Health & Safety of all employees involved in all elements of our operations.

We are proud of the fact that we can demonstrate an excellent safety record in all aspects of the business. People are trained to the highest standards and their responsible attitude ensures that we maintain our impressive record.

Working as a team, promoting and taking pride in our own safety culture in the design of our work implementations in every facility where we operate and throughout any support services we provide on our Clients sites onshore and offshore.

We acknowledge and support the high level of emphasis placed by the customer on these aspects of its business. In this respect we will ensure that such HSE conditions are passed on to its suppliers and in particular, to its main fabrication subcontractor(s) for application in their construction operations.

As well as complying with contractual Health, Safety & Environmental requirements and appropriate statutory and regulatory obligations, we always ensure Health, Safety & Environmental issues have a high profile during all phases of a project.

Attention to Health, Safety & Environmental aspects is perhaps most important during construction and commissioning works and in these operations, our Construction Department has developed comprehensive Site Health & Safety and Site Operations Manuals (00000-GM-00001), which are rigorously implemented at fabrications/construction facilities operated by us.  We audit fabrication/construction subcontractor’s own Health and Safety Systems to ensure that adequate standards are in place.

HS&E aspects are also actively considered in all other project related activities, including everyday Head Office activities.  The objective is to provide the customer with a plant that is safe to operate and maintain with the minimum effect on the environment.Consideration of HS&E aspects starts at the initial Sales, Marketing and Tendering phase of a project and continues throughout the project execution phase, in the development of the project execution strategy and planning of all project activities including design, engineering, procurement and construction.

In particular, during the design/engineering phase of the project we implement a series of formal design reviews (e.g. hazardous area classification, safety and risk assessments) which are a mandatory requirement of the our Quality Management System for every project.  Each of these internal reviews considers Health, Safety & Environmental issues under headings that include:

  • Safety and environmental compatibility

  • Compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Constructability and ease of assembly

  • User instructions and Health and Safety information

  • Avoidance of foreseeable risks to persons carrying out construction, commissioning and operation or cleaning works.

  • Material handling, operability and access/egress.
