The project scope consists of equipment and skids for location on a single lift module arrangement comprising: Coarse Filters, Ultrafiltration pre-treatment, Upstream Vacuum Deaerator Package, SRP & SWRO HP Feed Pumps, Sulphate Removal and SWRO Trains, combined UF, SRP & SWRO Clean in Place (CIP) System and Control System.

Produced Water Treatment

The project scope consists of equipment and skids for location on a single lift module arrangement comprising: 4 x 100% Desanding Sandliner Hydrocyclone vessels, 4 x 100% Deoiling Sandliner Hydrocyclone vessels, 1 x 100% CophaseTM Compact Flotation vessel, 1 x 100% Cyclonic Desander/Accumulator, and 1 x 100% Eductor.

Process Description:

Sulphate Removal System and Wash Water System

Inlet feed is treated by a set of coarse filters rated at 80µm to an ultrafiltration pre-treatment system in order to provide fine filtration down to 0.01µm prior to the membrane trains.

The conditioned water, boosted to the required feed pressure, is routed to a vacuum deaerator package, where oxygen is removed by mechanical and chemical means, then forwarded to the Sulphate removal trains.

Each membrane train is fitted with pressure vessels containing SR90HR-440i high rejection nanofiltration elements in order to meet the stringent sulphate permeate level. A recovery of 75% is achieved by a 2:1 brine staged configuration. Brine reject from the process is discharged overboard, while the low Sulphate permeate is routed to a set of water injection pumps (located of the module). A combined clean in place (CIP) package, consisting of cleaning tank, heater, pump and cartridge filter vessel is provided for the UF, SRP & SWRO membranes cleaning purposes. A SWRO package plant is provided to supply wash water for the main process plant.
