SRU/SWRO Feed Pumps

Filtered seawater is routed to the suction of the sulphate removal feed pumps to boost the conditioned water to the required feed pressure for the membranes, which work in parallel.

Antiscalant is dossed into the common suction piping of the sulphate feed pumps, this decreases the scalling tendency by limiting the formation of sparingly soluble salts in the membrane system.  A non-oxidizing proprietary biocide for treating the membranes is also periodically batch dosed into the common suction piping of the sulphate removal feed pumps.  SBS is also dosed into the common suction piping of the sulphate removal feed pumps to remove residual chlorine present in the seawater to prevent irreparable damage to the membranes.

Filtered water from the ultrafiltration package is routed to the sulphate removal high pressure pumps.  The SRU feed pumps deliver the pre-treated water to the SRU membrane trains at the required pressure flow.  The pumps develop sufficient head to head and maintain the required permeate flow and pressure from the SRU trains.

We can offer process pumps for various Reverse Osmosis and Produced Water projects. Typical applications include Seawater Supply, High Pressure, Clean In Place, Back Wash, and Water Injection Pumps. We have regular experience in tailoring designs around client specifications and individual design needs.
